Welcome to JOYS...
...
where our goal
is to help you easily navigate through the minefield of medications and medical insurance.

As a licensed pharmacist with over 23 years experience, I have seen firsthand the many costly and unhealthy mistakes made in regard to medication and insurance choices.

JOYS Medical Navigation was founded out of a desire to guide people through the ever increasing complexities of Medicare, medical insurance, and prescription medications. When you meet with me you have access to my expertise with medications and the expansive knowledge I have gained about the insurance industry.

Let me help you, or someone you love, take the frustration and anxiety out of the many choices that you face concerning Medicare and medications. I offer independent, unbiased information focusing solely on YOUR needs.

  • Did you know that you can sign up for Medicare 3 months before your 65th birthday and up to 3 months after without penalty?
  • Did you know that failing to sign up for a Medicare Part D (Drug) plan when you are eligible will cost you a 1% penalty each month you delay? That’s an increase of 12% in your premium after just 1 year!
  • Did you know that you can be penalized for pre-existing conditions even for Medicare if you don’t sign up in time or have ‘credible’ coverage beforehand?

The Medicare system requires YOU to be an active participant. You must re-assess your Medicare Part D plan every year regardless of whether or not your medications have changed because often the plans change without warning. You could get caught owing a deductible, not having a medication covered, or with an increase in price that could have been avoided.
